I have been involved in UI design since 2006, and since then I've worked with many businesses and teams, from small startups to multinationals. I have operated across fintech, e-commerce and SaaS, and I have created and managed user interface design, user research and re-branding projects at various levels. My passion for great UX and my understanding of efficient design methods ensure that both the teams I've built and the UX functions I've introduced provide real value to the business where they are implemented.
I enjoy working with people with a wide range of skill levels and get great satisfaction from mentoring more junior team members, helping shape them into 'user-first' designers that work with efficiency and scale in mind.
I co-founded and managed a software business, helped it raise capital and conceptualised, designed and developed original user-focused web apps that thousands of people use worldwide.
I have a wide range and depth of expertise across UX Strategy, UI Design, User Research, Interaction Design, Prototyping, Usability Testing, Personalisation, Conversion Rate Optimisation and Customer On-Boarding.
I provide value through a player-coach management style; leading by example and instilling methods I have refined throughout my career. With that in mind, I keep my finger firmly on the industry's pulse, ensuring modern tools and processes are leveraged when ready to get the most value from any project I work on.
